Planting at the Turrill Garden

Below is a plan updated in 2026 since the original was made in 2000 when the garden was first planted.

The magnificent Birch (Betula pendula) and Cherry (Prunus avium) were there originally, but most other plants were added then.  Some have survived very happily and a few have not survived and been replaced with others.  Further below are details of the plants around the garden in order of their planting or where self-sown plants have been retained
