Art Late 2022 – Thursday 29th Sept – 17:30 – (19.30 for Turrill)

We are delighted to join forces once again with complementary local arts venues in South Parade, Summertown, to present “Art Late 2022”, this coming Thursday evening, 29th Sept., starting at 5.30 pm and continuing at the Turrill till 7.30 and 8pm at the other venues.

The Turrill Sculpture Garden, The North Wall Arts Centre and Sarah Wiseman Gallery have each recently launched new exhibitions* which will be open until 8 pm, offering plenty of time to visit, chat with the hosts and artists and even enjoy free wine tasting, sponsored by local wine merchant, Grape Minds! Each venue will have a different wine to try, as you peruse their exhibits.

To get the evening started we have secured the help of art historian Lizzy Rowe who will give an introductory talk on South Parade’s history, as she guides you toward each of the venues. Lizzy’s talk starts at 5.45 pm outside the Summertown Library, and she’ll repeat the talk at 6.15, again starting at the Library.

Art-K is a welcome addition to South Parade, offering art classes and workshops for children up to the age of 18, and you will be welcome to watch art demonstrations there during the evening.

Finally, make sure you enter the free draw on the evening – fantastic prizes to be won, including a £50 voucher to spend at Mamma Mia Pizzeria, 2 x tickets to a North Wall theatre performance and a £50 Voucher to put towards framing at Sarah Wiseman Gallery!
